I am sorry. I wish I knew what to tell you, but I’ve never been in that situation before. I don’t know that you should leave everything else behind; that isn’t an ‘instant fix’ on problems. I think you’d regret it, later on. But you can make it known and clear how much you care about him.

my father has fantastic taste in films, so if he really enjoyed it, it must really be wonderful

-create handmade gift for the gift exchange

-send out reminder about party/talk to those who have said ‘maybe’

-create party playlist

-send things that should have been sent and letters

-buy some sort of big blank drawing book, something bigger than the thin notebooks I have at the moment (it can be my “inspiration” book and I can paste things in it like photographs from magazines that inspire me, and plastic stars and pressed petals and wrinkled leaves, whatever inspires me)

-rent loads of films from netflix over winter break and watch them (and plan day with friend where we see the lovely bones and watch Hitchock films/horror films in the night)

-over winter break, go scouting thrift shops for props in case I find something good

-scavenge for new locations via google

-plan out any ideas for shoots

this is one of my favorite songs, and since I saw elies’ play, I always think of the play when I listen to it now. same goes for “I’m waiting for the man” by the Velvet Underground. I swear, her play was so amazing.

This scene is in everyone’s top 10 scenes if it’s not their favorite. Because we’ve all been there, that morning after you got in some nasty fight, and something brings you back together and reminds you to take it easy, to let things come as they will, and to fucking sing your heart out whenever you can.
